Race for the Cure

Today a group of my friends and classmates participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. It was the first time I've ever worn one of those marathon runner bibs, and I really did feel pretty fancy. :)

Anyway, it was a really cool, hopeful, meaningful event and I'm glad I was a part of it.

...even though Tony Consiglio and Cindy Michaels weren't there. :(

the people in the picture are me, brian, sarah, and beth. brian just graduated from our program and sarah is in our year.

i think i did pretty well in the race. i started out planning to walk and then ended up running about a mile at two different points. it was fun.
